At OPS Events, my ability to create scale technical drawings for them like the one above, was a big step forward in being able to visual the final event in the planning stages.  Converting  these drawings into web based documents also allowed clients to approve designs quickly and facilitate rapid changes to the event design.

Most facilities do not have scale drawings that can be provided to clients and vendors which required me to physically measure each venue.   Very advanced events like a film premier, or working in tight spaces with visual obstructions really benefit from detailed scale drawing when estimating space use and seating capacities.
