This picture of me and Maurice, a fellow old timers float driver
are seen here cleaning up after the Hercules Film Premier
Celebration. We worked all through the night towing back the
Main Street Electrical Parade Floats from one end of Manhattan on
the East side of Central Park, to the West side where the floats
were being prepared and stored.
Working around the clock putting in 20, 30 and even 40 hour days
happens all the time on large scale events under pressing
deadlines. Mo and I are smiling so much here, simply because
having done what we just did was a blast and a half. All of us
involved took significant time away from our professional lives to
come together again as a team to make a few million people smile as
large as the two of us are doing here at 6:00 AM on a empty New York
City street .
