My involvement at the Finals matches back in Los Angeles was
simply to back-up the Operations Director and the Logistics
Director. Kind of a one man hit squad, I was there to help put
out fires to ensure for a very successful day.
This picture is of me and Bart the Press Operations Manager on
the field of play. Bart who is also a ex-Disney person was in
charge of all international press and media people covering the
event. Making sure they had what they needed as well as were
restrained from being in places they were not authorized for, or
interfering with players or officials.
An event like the World Cup which is the world largest event as
far as how many people actually watch and take an interest, is
comprised of a huge infrastructure. Some of the departments
