Once each year Walt Disney Pictures produced a special
show for 5,000 top industry professionals related to the sale of
video tapes at the retail level. To help market the Disney
line of videotape products a special $1,000,000 Broadway type show
is produced for the luncheon event in Las Vegas.
Every years show is customized to match the current years
releases. This one year we shipped in a couple of massive parade
floats from Disneyland that would roll in as part of the show in the
huge convention center ballroom.
The shows would be a best of the best heartfelt moments and
finales from many of Disney's famous movies and videotape releases.
The show is "The Event" to be invited to if you are
attending the VSDA Convention.
