In 1978 when I transferred into the Entertainment Division from Merchandise, my first job was driving the "Pete's Dragon" float in the Main Street Electrical Parade.  Thinking that would only be a summer job back then, turned into a 20 year career working for Mickey Mouse.

For the latter 10 year of my life at Disneyland, my primary position was to manage most all of the special events that also includes the Parades Department.  I would even go on to return to Disney when the Main Street Electrical Parade was transported to New York City as part of the Hercules Film Premier, and perform for all of Manhattan down 5th Avenue.

I was honored that they would call me back to take charge one more time.
